I got this as a Pay it forward (PIF) item and I have to say when I received it I was amazed at the quality of the workmanship that went into making these adorable glass earrings.  Can you believe I got these for only 1.00 with free shipping! I just adore the soft Aqua color and they are bigger then I expected. I have to give a A++ on craftsmanship. I originally got these as a gift, but now I might keep them. LOL Don’t you hate it when you do that?

Show and Tell/Product review-Spooky Ghost by Slothmuffin on zibbet

Hi everyone!

I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday. :) I wanted to take a moment of your time to share a little goodie I bought from zibbet.com.

This is a felted Ghost ornament that I found and bought from slothmuffin on zibbet.

This was a Pay It Forward (PIF) item that I fell in love with and new I had to give this little guy a home and figured sense I just love Halloween he would fit in nicely at my house. 

The description went on this SpOoKy Ghost as such:

"An online tutorial told me that I could put wool roving in a tupperware container with some warm water and soap and just...shake it for a while to make a ball. This turned out to not be true, but I ended up with this cool ghost ornament as a result" 

Now I ask you, how cool is that. A boo-boo that turned out to be as adorable as this just goes to show when you are creating, even when it goes wrong keep going and wait till the end result cause you just never know what you may get. 

I hung my little ghost Ornament from one of my lamps on/off switch..heehee and it is to cute.

When it arrived in the mail, it came in an adorable pumpkin card with a lovely note and Halloween ACEO art card that I will surely add to my collection.

This seller is truly a gem and I hope you will take a moment to check out her shop on zibbet. She has some ADORABLE item's in her shop and I adore her crochet owls and can't wait to add one of those to my collection as well!

My new hat from The Art of Necking

Forgive my dorkiness here, but I got my crochet hat in the mail from my good friend Frankie over at The Art of Necking and as soon as I got this; I was not even inside the house before it was out of the envelope it came in and on my head!  LOL I took these pictures with my cell phone so she can see I did get it and I just LOVE IT!

 I love the colors she did this in.

I had asked her if she could make me one so when it is cold out and I gotta walk my furry friends I would have a hat that could be cute and cover my ears, but not my earrings ( I hate hats that get caught up in my earrings). Well, she said oh sure I can make that for you in a jiffy. Being that I am a beach girl living in GA (haha) she nailed it with the colors she made this in too.  Thank you Frankie! I think a scarf in these colors is next....... *wink*wink

Show and tell of "Funky Finds by Funkyartdivadidi"

I wanted to do another show and tell and introduce you to a new artist I just came across on zibbet. Diane of Funkyartdivadidi is such a wonderful person and I love her funky art.

She states "Art is beautiful, colorful, wonderful,art is life! I love to paint, draw, sculpt, make funky jewelry, etc... I can't be me without doing something artistic!" How wonderful is that. As a fellow artist/crafter, I think I feel the same way as she does that art is life! I feel so blessed to be able to make something that makes someone smile and so does Diane.

I have recently bought a few of her funky ACEO's/art cards and I have them in my little binder where I collect aceo's from other artist. I almost have a whole page filled of her aceo's. I just need to get one more to make a complete page..and perhaps just start on a 2nd one!

A little Tell and Show of "The Art of Necking".

 I wanted to do a little show and tell of a few things I have gotten from a wonderful friend of mine.

But first...

The Tell....

I have known Frankie for over 15 years now..WOW I cannot believe it has been that long. 

We first met when we both lived in HI. Our husbands were in the Military and we were stationed there at good 'ol Schofield Barracks. We sure had some good times with our long walks we use to take and our kids were about the same age so we really enjoyed each others company back then. Of course being military spouses, PCS moves took us to other area's and even though we did loose touch a for a short time, we were able to find one another again and have kept in touch ever sense. During the time we lost touch I learned she went to art school which is sooo wonderful and she told me I was one of the inspiration's for her going as she loved to see my stuff. I never knew. Talk about feeling so honored to have touched someone so deeply..gosh.

  I love to see her art work and try to encourage her to paint more and sell her stuff. She also started crocheting (one thing I just can't do) and she makes some cute stuff! One day were were talking about her opening up an online store on etsy and what could she call it?  We came up with the Art of Necking...LOL We came up with that cause... well she crochets scarves and she does art... How funny is that. I love it and think it is such a clever name! 

She sense has opened another store on zibbet.com as well. Currently she has a few item's in her zibbet store, but she promises me that she will be adding some new item's here soon. So please check out her zibbet store

Now for a little show...

I asked Frankie to send me some ACEO's/art cards that she started doing. She sent me these wonderful Original hand painted with Oil paints.. 

 I Love them! I have them in a binder where I am trying to collect other aceo's from other artist as well. I need to get 5 more cards from Frankie to fill my page I have dedicated to her aceo art.  heehee So ummm Frankie, if you are reading this... yah, I need 5 more please! LOL

She also just sent these cuuute crochet item's for me to have some fun with.

I just love this little bird pin.

I currently have these pins on my art apron I wear when I am working with paint when I am in my studio. This winter I plan on putting this little birdie on a scarf! I know she has the flowers available in her zibbet store right now. Hopefully soon she will also offer these cute birds! Hint hint Frankie..

Product review..

I wanted to start doing a product review of some great online sellers I have bought from or have been given samples/gifts from and share their wonderful products with you and encourage you to go check out their online shop.

Well, I have to say these are just lovely. These were inexpensive and had free shipping, but I tell you what, they look like I paid a lot more then I actually did. The craftsmen ship is spectacular.

"Cruisin' Earrings" were the title of these. I just love how Marge names all her jewelry and gives a little story for each one.  I am very pleased with this purchase and will be looking for some goodies for myself from her store as I just love her jewelry. Not to mention her customer service is absolutely the BEST!

The chain maille is like nothing I have seen before and breathtaking work. I could not sit still long enough to create such master pieces as she can. Elegance is surely her style and you can tell she takes great pride in her work. Please be sure to check out her works in her zibbet store where you can find great jewelry from 3.00 to 500.00. A little bit for everyone.
