A special EOD Thank you to...

I just wanted to give a Special Thank you to  Sonja S. whom bought one my my EOD glass Art items from my etsy store. Thank you so much Sonja.I am truly honored to have you as a new customer to CreationsbyGena and I hope you enjoy your EOD glass art once it arrives! 

Steelers Glass art request

A wonderful New customer saw one of these that I created last year and contacted me about making him one. 

I love painting on glass and doing special request. This one is of the Steelers logo. Created using glass paints and glitter paint.

the base color glass paints. Back ground has clear paint on it. You see it here as white as it is still wet.

the finished result with the glitter  and crackle effect added.

Varnished afterwards several coats to help protect the art and ease of cleaning. Comes in a wood frame painted black with a sawtooth hanger on the back for hanging if they choose.

Just a little thank you...

I have made a couple of sales sense this weekend and wanted to say thank you to my wonderful customers!

 I also like to thank Diane for coming back to my zibbet store for another ACEO. It is truly an honor to have another ACEO artist take interest in my ACEO's :)  heehee I have a few of hers and LOVE THEM!!

Diane bought the Vampire one I call "The Thirst" I made this other one as a companion aceo. 

 I tilted it "Friend or Foe" cause you never know, this bat might be a Friendly fruit bat or a Bad Vampire bat!

heehee these are fun I must say.

I wanted to do another THANK YOU to a very dear friend of mine whom bought my first EOD art pendant/necklace that I listed in my etsy shop. 


Sabine, Thank you so much! You are such a wonderful friend and a huge supporter/fan of my art and crafts and I am truly blessed to have met you while our husbands worked together back in the day. I sure miss when you lived right up the street, but you got to love the Military for moving us around. That is one thing I have to admit that was hard being a Military wife, it was hard to meet and stay in touch with the friends you come in contact with. However, Sabine you are a special friend to me and I am truly blessed we stayed in touch all these years sense you moved. Oh, by the way I still miss your coffee!!! LOL


I sure wish we made it to the EOD ball this year. Oh well, there is always next year!

I am sorry to my blog followers that I have 3 thank you's in a row here. Today was a busy day for my pendants and I could not be more thrilled with the sales!

I wanted to give a shout out THANK YOU to Jill B. in SC. I actually had this kitty cat necklace up at auction on ebay and that auction ended today and Jill won this cutie!

This is the 2nd kitty I sold today. Guess I need to make more!! heehee

Little red riding hood aceo

I wanted to share with you my first sale I made on a new online shop I have where you only sell or trade Aceo's and Atc's. I happen to come across it one day looking for trade groups and thought, hmmm think I will list some stuff on there. I mean why not. It's free. Well, I made my first sale today and my first card was just listed on there on March 2. So not bad I guess. Now, my cards are not overly priced cause I do these for fun and I really think one should be able to buy an original art card at an affordable price. Besides, it isn't like I am some big famous artist...yet. LOL

This one that sold  was created using glass paints to give it a "stained glass look" so to speak. My favorite type of paints to play with I must say.     This is one I created back in 2010 and is 1 of 1

Wonder what could be in the darkness behind this little red riding hood?? I leave that up to your imagination. :0)

EOD Explosive ordnance disposal Wife Prayer (sold) Thank You

I have had several request for these ever sense I made one for my friend a few months back.
Due to a hurt hand, it takes me time to create these as it is very hard for me to squeeze the glass leading out of the fine tip when I hand write the wife prayer onto the glass.

This one is now available to purchase in my zibbet store. However, due to it being a little humid it wont be ready to ship (as it hasn't fully cured) till Friday Feb. 11th.

I have a couple more in the making so if you miss out on this one, Please stay tuned to my zibbet store for more EOD wife listings :)
